What a year!!!  As many of you already know, I've been through a divorce this year :(  It is actually for the good, as hard as it was to take and accept in the beginning, it has turned out to be a blessing!!!  With the Grace of God, I've been able to keep my place here AND keep the horses and my breeding program!!  I'm trully blessed, and give all my thanks to God :)

As far as the girls go, Natalie will be bred back to He's a Smooth Mister for a 2012 NWSSA mare owner foal.  Amy is already 246 days along in her pregnancy, and due the middle of January with our Entitlement foal for 2011!!!  Wow.....I can't wait for this baby to arrive!!  Should be a head turner, no doubt!!

Natalie produced an incredible colt this year by He's a Smooth Mister.  He wants to be very big so we had some issues with keeping his front legs from being shaky at the show, but never the less, Clint Fullerton placed him 1st everytime and commented that we could have a WC on our hands!!  How exciting would that be!!!

Hopefully with everything settling down here, I'll be able to keep up on the pics and website.  It's been quite the trying year, and I've come through it on top......thanks be to God!!!  I'm hoping and praying for a nice quiet successful year in 2011!

God Bless you all,

Leanne

Has it REALLY been a year and a half since I've written any news????  Wow.........time flies huh??  So, where to begin........Bella AND GW have gone to new homes.  Bella is in CA and GW is in AZ.  They are both doing great and I'm sure enjoying the warmth :)  Amy was bred to Res WC "Entitlement" and became pregnant, but unfortunately the embryo attached itself way at the tippy top of the uterine horn and it did not progress beyond 18 days :(  We tried again and she failed to settle.  We will be bringing her in the barn underlights in the next week to prepare her for an early breeding back to Title.  Ms Nat on the other hand has taken to this breeding thing like a pro.  She's super easy to settle!! We shipped semen from He's A Smooth Mister and got her the first time.  She is really starting to show and we are super excited about this baby.  The resulting foal will be our NWSSA mare owner entry for 2010.  Ms Nats first filly is just a beauty!!  She's turned out to grow right now and we will start fitting on her early in the year for the 2010 show season. This filly is for sale and will be shown until sold.  We've made some big improvements to the ranch here.  We've insulated, painted, and redid our lighting in the mares/foaling stalls.  The picture on the live cam is sooooooo much better now.  I didn't have to deal with any redoing of the wiring for the cams.  It always seems like they never survived the winter, but this year everything is great and ready to roll.  We finished an indoor insulated and heated wash/grooming bay with warm water (very spoiled horses :) And last but not least, FINALLY finished enclosing and insulating our tack/feed room.  It's been a very busy summer, but am looking forward to a relaxing winter.  Having all of our projects done before the snow flies is such a blessing :)  I will be adding "Twitter" to our website soon.  Keep in touch and continue to watch us grow and show here at BPQH!!  Thanks for keeping us as a part of your world :)

Sincerely,

Leanne

Hello All......WOW!!!!!!  What a winter we have had!!!  This is the most snow I've seen since we moved here in December of 2001.  It has been challenging to say the least.  Yes, for those of you who do not have snow in your neck of the woods lol......it is beautiful, but what a PAIN to deal with day in and day out!!!  With that being said, I still don't think I would choose to live anyplace else :-)

Amy is quickly approaching 320 days, and boy oh boy is she HUGE already!!!!!  I don't think she'll go past 335 days, as she has already begun to form a bag and she is typically 2-3 weeks out once her bag has started.  She is bred to Classy Will APHA/PtHA mulitple futurity champion sire.  This should be one spectacular baby!!!!  Amy will be bred to AQHA Reserve World Champion & 2x PHBA World Champion, Classic Style Gold x Kids Classic Style.

Ms.Natalie is our new addition here at BPQH.  She is by Unanimous AQHA World Champion - Design by Concention out of a Statutory daughter.  This mare is SUPER nice and will be bred to our 2 yr old stallion Impressively Paged x World/Reserve World Champion Producer - Impress Me Page x Page Impressive.  We are super excited to see the cross between these two!!!!

Please check back often and don't forget to visit our live cams and message board!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!! Well, I became an Auntie the other day :-)....Leila's mare Midnight foaled a beautiful colt by Obviously Mortgaged aka Larry. Larry was bred by Darla McConnell-Fox of Rockin Fox Farms and sold to Debbie and Harold Kruger of Kruger Ranch.

It's been a pretty quiet year here at BPQH. After the tragic loss of Robin, I hadn't really planned on getting another mare......that of course was before I ran across Miss Natalie Design!!!! She is a WORLD CLASS bred mare and will be bred to our 2 yr old stud Impressively Paged aka GW. Ms Natalie is by Unanimous AQHA World Champion "Design by Concention" and out of the late World Champion and World Champion producer "Statutory". Sadly, Statutory was euthanized this month because of a broken leg. We are very excited to see what this cross with GW will bring. Natalie is currently underlights for a mid February breeding.

Amy is going along just perfect in her pregnancy this year. She is looking much bigger this time around. I am so anxious and excited to see this baby!!! Please visit our mares page to see who the girls are bred to and their future breeding plans.

We will be starting up the cams real soon here, so check back often.

I hope this message finds you all healthy and happy!!!

Sincerely,
Leanne
